Bar Gresca

Barcelona: Bar Gresca

Bar Gresca – Fresh anchovy dressed in sesame, lemon & scallions in Chef-Owner Rafa Pena’s Gresca.
From the street you will see two entrances side by side, one for the wine bar and the other for the restaurant. Walk in to either and what connects them in the back is a huge shiny new kitchen. You can choose from sit down tables or kitchen bar seats. There are at least 20 a la carte sharing plate options using quality local products, beautifully presented. Presentation is modern but bistrot inspired menu. Bonus points for being open on Sunday and for impressive selection of natural wines. Reservations are a must. Tomato bread called ‘Pan amb tomaquet’ at Gresca Wine Bar in Barcelona. Insanely addictive. Lightly fried shrimp dusted with fine salt & pepper. Crispy, eat them whole. Merci team Gresca Bar… you guys are awesome.
